We are small-scale family breeders operating out of St-Bernardin, a country village situated a mere 60 minutes from Montréal and 50 minutes from Ottawa. Click here to display a map. Our aim is to breed healthy, happy dogs whose conformation and temperament meet or exceed breed standards. Selection shelties are not raised in a kennel but in our home as part of our family. They are happy and full of energy, and a rigorous nutrition program keeps them in perfect health. Selection is a member in good standing of the Canadian Kennel Club and of the Canadian Collie and Shetland Sheepdog Association. We are also accredited as professionnal dog breeders by Certification Cyno-Professionnelle Canadienne Ltée and a kennel license issued by our municipality.. I avail myself of this opportunity to thank all those who support and have faith in Selection. Special thanks go to my husband Joé, my son Félix and my daughter Léarose who have been with me through it all and who share my sometimes demanding passion for shelties. I am particularly grateful to Dr. Danielle Hould, of the Montcarmel Kennel, for giving me my first chance, her precious time and her equally precious advice.
